Chef Ayla starting working in the restaurant industry at a very young age. After realizing this was her passion she enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America. After Graduation she moved to New York City and started her career working at some of the most influential and hottest restaurants in the city. Chef Ayla was on the opening team of Atla where she landed her first Sous Chef job at 23. She went on to be on the opening team of Frenchette, and the opening Sous Chef of West Village hot spot Dame. After working as a Private Chef on her days off from the restaurant she realized her true passion was cooking intimate dinner parties, that’s when she and her partner Jared created Public Private Chefs. Chef Jared has a decade of restaurant experience himself. Working Across the world in kitchens in Australia, in the beach town of Asbury Park, New Jersey, and in New York City. He has worked in restaurants with all different Cuisines like French at Rotisserie Georgette, low-country Charleston inspired at Modine, and Taiwanese at neighborhood favorite Win Son. Chef Jared also has a deep love for wine and spent a some time working at acclaimed Wine Shop Discovery Wine. Together with their extensive knowledge of food and wine they would like to cook for you.
